This beautiful little hand-colored map had many versions and the exact dating of this copy is uncertain. The boundary of Pennsylvania and New York is carried to the 43rd parallel and the Delaware separation is not shown. Delaware's separation from Pennsylvania was not shown on many colonial maps because both colonies had the same proprietor, a Penn.
