The DHS cataloging team is pleased to
announce the opening of our first exhibit! Driving
Delaware: A Road Trip through our Collections,
highlights photographs, manuscripts, objects, and published
materials from 16 cities all across the state. After a year
and a half of adding material to the online public access
catalog, Ask Caesar, we’re happy to share some of our
favorite finds through this fun exhibit. From the music of
the Big August Quarterly, to the adventure of race day at
Dover Downs International Speedway, to the lazy summer days
spent at Rehoboth Beach…it’s all here, complete with a few
stops off the beaten path.
We hope you’ll visit the
Willingtown
Square atrium by September 7, 2012 and see all the
history, culture, and adventure our little state has to
offer. You may just get some ideas for your own Delaware
road trip!
