The Historical Society of Delaware maintains a very
extensive collection of family history folders for public use. This
collection is primarily the result of the generosity of family historians
all over the country who’ve kindly donated information over the past
several decades. A number of folders are also the result of genealogical
research conducted in our library by both staff and patrons. Each family
folder contains miscellaneous, mostly unpublished material on one or more
