Wilmington Dry Goods, 414-420 Market Street
January 26, 1956
Sanborn Collection

What an institution "The Dry" was for the community! Pat DiPinto describes
some of the attraction, "The floors squeaked in The Dry...and it had this
distinct odor, and the tables were wooden and they had sides that came up."
Because of its character, and its bargains, the store remained one of
Wilmington's favorite, if long-gone, shared memories.
