Due to the variety of resource material in our collections as well as limited staff resources, a personal visit is strongly encouraged.  For a fee, a preliminary research service is available for those who are unable to visit our library in person. Our research service cannot, in general, exceed 1 hour of investigation. Successful results cannot be guaranteed. 

Research Fees

HSD Members	$20.00 (prepaid) per hour of research $2.00 minimum (prepaid) for family book index or catalog check for each family name
Non-Members	$30.00 (prepaid)  per hour of research $5.00 minimum (prepaid) for family book index or catalog check of each family name
Photocopying	$.25 per page; $.30 for oversized.  If over $5.00-prepayment is required.
