Wilmington Campus

The Delaware Historical Society's Wilmington campus dominates the 500 block of North Market Street in downtown Wilmington and composed of the Delaware History Museum, Old Town Hall, Willingtown Square, and the Society's Research Library.

Please note: there are two (2) meters designated for handicapped parking on each side of Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets.

The Society's Wilmington campus is just a few blocks from the Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park, the First USA Riverfront Arts Center, and the Wilmington train station.

Traveling North from I-95:

Exit 6 (Martin Luther King Blvd., Maryland Avenue); at the bottom of the exit ramp stay in the far right lane and turn right onto Maryland Avenue; turn right onto Martin Luther King Blvd.; stay in second to last left hand lane; follow signs to turn left onto Orange Street. After turning left onto Orange, make a right hand turn onto Sixth Street. If you wish to park on Shipley Street, you can turn right here. If you wish to park on King Street, follow Sixth Street to King Street, make a right onto King Street, and get into your far left hand for the Courthouse parking lot. The Delaware History Museum and Old Town Hall are at 504 North Market Street, under the arch! The Research Library and Willingtown Square are at 505 North Market Street.

Traveling South from I-95:
