the amazing sites in Delaware that relate to railroading history....
hosted by the Delaware Historical Society.
The Focus on Delaware’s Railroad Photo Contest will complement
The
Delaware Historical Society's upcoming exhibition about
the history
of the railroad at the
Delaware History Museum.
No registration or administration fee

You must first register via email and then post
your images using Flickr.
Here are the guidelines to make sure your entry is accepted:
To register, email the following information to us at
deinfo@dehistory.org

Name, hometown, brief bio (50 words or less)

Email address
-
Category (Youth 13-16 or Amateur or Professional)
-
Photo Title (this must match the photo title you post on
Flickr)

An
original description (50 words or less) explaining how your
photo relates to the railroad and its impact on Delaware
today or in the past. (NOTE: Please also include this
description of your photo when you upload it to Flickr.)
Once you submit your registration, you will be emailed
an invitation to join the
Focus on Delaware Railroad contest Flickr
Group. This is where you MUST upload your image for
submission into this contest.

Your photo must be a
minimum of 640 x 525 pixels in dimensions. Your photo
should be one that you own. High-quality scans of
non-digital photographs are acceptable. Entries can be in
color or black and white.

You should limit your
submission to three photos or less. You are limited to
entering in one category (Youth 13-16 or Amateur or
Professional).

You should also tag your
photo in Flickr with the category in which you are
submitting your entry.

If you have a
recognizable person in your photo,
you must have this release form signed and submitted.
NOTE:
By entering your submission to the Focus on Delaware’s Railroad
Flickr group you are deemed to have accepted
Terms and Conditions
provided in the Group Rules.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winner for each
category
Book Prize
and People's Choice Award
Winner’s will be announced and displayed at the
Delaware History Museum on Friday October 1, 2010 (details to follow).
